Cabin number 6 is a hidden treasure. Clean well maintained, (and a pool on the property ) a wonderful little kitchen in the cabin. |Windows all around. |Nice deck ||The family who own and run it are jewels. |It’s very quiet, nice walking trail for the dogs in the meadow next door.|Close to town ||We have been coming here since 1979. |We skipped many years coming to Idyllwild. But upon return, we came back to this place. |Reasonable prices, the wifi is better, |And apple trees with luscious apples in the fall.

Excellent, cozy, clean cabins. Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. We stayed in 1A and loved the floor to ceiling windows. Truly a pet friendly stay. Loved the DVD library and on site firewood.

Great cabin tucked away. Came after hours but there was still no issues checking in. Everything was clean. Beds were a little firm for my taste but I know some people love that. Will definitely consider staying here again if I stay overnight in idyllwild

I read that a lot of people thought it was outdated, but who cares. It was clean and cozy. The beds (matresses) were great. I think they were like memory foam. Very comfortable. We had a fireplace, heater and a window air conditioner. There was a small kitchen that had everything we needed. It was a very short drive to the town, like 5 minutes, but it was very quiet and secluded.
We liked it so much, we booked it again for Father's day weekend. We are going to bring the whole family (dogs included). Did I mention it was dog freindly. The whole town is dog friendly.

We’ve been coming here for years. Wonderful family owned business! The cabins have floor to ceiling windows- a very vintage vibe. One of the only places up in Idyllwild with a pool. Very dog friendly. Absolutely adore this place.

We love booking our cabins with woodland park manor. They are well kept, clean and well stocked with your basic needs.

Our favorite is the dome as it has all the beautiful woodwork and the jacuzzi. It’s close to town and Denise and Colin are very gracious and friendly hosts.

We have stayed here about six times between Christmas and the new year. It’s our favorite place to unwind, unplug and hike and just relax. Denise, Colin and Matt are the BEST hosts, and take care of anything you need!

This is a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath cabin. 2 story. We had 3 couples that stayed here and it was just fine and since we were all family that was ok with only the 1 full bath, but if you're not family just note that you are all sharing that one bathroom. The half bath is on the main floor next to the kitchen. There is only ONE TV in this cabin which, again, depending on your preference may be just fine..we brought our iPads so we could watch movies on Netflix in our bedroom. WiFi is very good. There is plenty of hot water but wished the shower head was different...it could use a change since its old and the spray goes everywhere and the drain is a bit slow. Fully stocked with all the kitchen appliances you may need. Furniture was comfy although with 6 adults we also sat on dining room chairs when watching a football game. Does have central heat & air that works very well. It was very cool at night and early mornings so we had the heat on and the upstairs (which are the bedrooms & full bath) could get a bit warm & stuffy. There is no dishwasher in the cabin. Also there is no washer & dryer either in case you need them. It was a very nice cabin for the weekend and we enjoyed our stay, however the worse part of the whole cabin - like the name states - are the stairs up to the cabin!! The driveway is extremely (no joke!) steep so how you would manage that during the winter with snow and ice without a 4 wheel drive is beyond us....and there is no room to turn around so either way you go up you have to make sure you dont fall off the side or run into the wall.....and the steps going up to the cabin are steep and plenty!! Literally at times we (and we aren't THAT out of shape! HA) had to stop midway to catch our breath - and there is no hand rail to hold onto...and my brother's in-laws are elderly so that was tricky for them.....if you have any kind of health issue where you can't climb, are in a wheelchair, anything of that nature - this is NOT the cabin for you.
